So remember how I said that red is the color I barely own anything in? Well, I lied. Purple is most definitely the color I own nothing of. I actually have nothing against red, I'm just not drawn to it. Purple on the other hand is one of those tricky colors. I think my subconscious hates it because my mother used to dress me in purple all the time.
This shirt was part of a buy one get one free at Old Navy and with a variety of colors to choose from, this lavender color was not my first grab. But it kept staring at me. Taunting me with it's cute v neck and softness. And so it came home with me. And now it can be known as the first item in my closet that is purple.
Wow. I think I now own at least one piece of clothing in every color. :)

I really like purple but I dont always find myself buying it. I think i have two purple ish shirts in my closets atm lol I do really like the lavender purple that has been coming out for spring I think I'll have to pick some items up that are that color.

We have that in common, lol. I really like purple, particularly in the shade of the shirt you're wearing (gah), but don't really have enough of it. It just goes really nicely on my skin tone, I think. And I love that bag <3 I can't help but like two-toned things.

Ohh!! I saw some pants similar at Kohls, reminded me of the first time I saw you wore them. (when you said you added the tapered ends or something) I really liked the way you wore them and was so tempted to buy them but I just couldn't (the price tag :( boo)
I'm glad you wore them again! Love this look, it looks kinda boyish to me, in a good way! Really laid back and great to go shopping or grab some coffee with some pals!! :)
And wow, I think the lavender looks good on you! I also don't own much purple. But I would give lavender a try! :)

I haven't worn the pink polka dots one yet, but I am so excited to! Unfortunately, I have to wait until March 5 (I think) because I want to wear them for my speech!!!!
Just check Marshalls one day! Preferably in the noon time :) and NOT weekend! I just go in randomly and that's when I find the cutest stuff! haha :D
And I made a mistake :( Those Mint shorts aren't from Marshalls. They're from "Cotton On." There is a store in SF (in the Market street mall). If you can, check em out!!
