So of course, I had to break away from my usual photo shoot locale (ahem, my front yard) and make my way to the outskirts of my neighborhood. Oh yes, the locale looks deserted, but this lot is on quite a busy street and I had many people driving by staring right at me. Made me a little nervous, but I wanted these photos to look vintage and etheral, so it had to be done. I also added a little vintage-y touch with a small victory roll in my hair. I know that's not usually 40's hair, but I thought it added to the dress.
What do you think? Not so "hospital gown dress" anymore, right? :)

I think this dress is actually really cute! ^^ You look gorgeous in it! xo
I definitely think this is very vintage and J Wu probably envisioned it wore just as you are. Love that you added the victory roll in your hair it really give it that pin up feel. I do see how the other girls could see it as a hospital dress but all you have to do is prep yourself a bit and this dress looks great!

I guess I can see why someone would think this is like a hospital gown, but I think you've styled it perfectly! It looks so lovely, and your hair is to die for!

Definitely not a hospital gown anymore!
You definitely accomplished the ethereal look, and I love how you got into these outfit pictures with the great background and styled hair! You look absolutely gorgeous. You did that Jason Wu dress justice. I'm sure when that dress was first sketched out this was what he was envisioning ;)
