The weather up here lately has been PERFECTION! I'm totally digging the early spring vibes. Because of that, I've been busy working on my garden and making plans for my boy's 4th birthday. So unfortunately, my blog has kind of taken a back seat. But I'm glad you all are still here with me even with my sporadic posting! :)
Light layers were all I needed for this beautiful 60 degree day. I recently bought these white ankle strap, perforated heels from Forever 21 and I'm in love!! I think a white shoe is so fresh and pops against any outfit color. I built the rest of my outfit around the heels and wore a white Zara jacket I thrifted from Crossroads Trading Co., with my lightweight checkered blouse from Joe Fresh x JCP.
And I swear I think I'm the only person who bought this Oscar de la Renta tote from Target's Holiday Collaboration with Neiman Marcus. I heard quite the loud opinions about how it looks "granny-ish" etc, etc. But I honestly think an item can be made to look stylish and modern when you know what to wear it with. Just like with vintage, it takes a certain eye to be able to incorporate it into a modern wardrobe. And I think I styled this tote with a fresh, spring feel. What do you think?
